Nestled amongst the small town of Mahone Bay, past the “well-known” three churches sit a group of citizens who meet every Thursday night at the local legion hall, Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 49. The Mahone Bay Legion Swing Band. They have been getting together to play their tunes since 1983. Anyone looking for a chance to pick up their instrument and play along is welcome to join in the fun.
